We want to know how animals are born.

Oviparous: animals are born from an egg.
Viviparous; animals are born from their mother's body.

Animals are living things so they need to eat food. We classify animals into three groups: herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores.

  • Herbivores: herbivores eat plants. They eat different parts of plants such as leaves, roots, and fruit. Herbivores have special teeth to help them cut and chew plants. Deer, cows, and rabbits are herbivores.
  • Carnivores: carnivores eat other animals. They hunt and eat meat. They have sharp teeth and excellent eyesight. Foxes, eagles, and lions are carnivores.
  • Omnivores: omnivores eat plants and other animals. bears and chimpanzees are omnivores.

Good morning kids!  Are you ready for gardening?Today we continue with the plants, just to finish up with this unit and move on to something different.

Time for reading

To finish up, let's  review the important words in our unit and a game!

Are you ready to complete this worksheet?

Hi kids! Ready for this special week? Let's see  if we can work a little bit on our subjects.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS

Can you do it  ?

To review parts of the plant...

To review types of trees...

To make our artistic tree!!!

Why our planet is amazing? Can you tell us ?

  Let's read this book!!!

Currently, we are working on butterflies from an artistic point of view. Let's explore a little more through this beautiful song in Spanish ( cuncuna= gusano)

La letra en PDF

We are learning how to differentiate between the seasons of the year and understand the specific characteristics of each one.

MONTHS OF THE YEAR

THE FOUR SEASONS

To practise using I like or I don't like.

We are in a new an amazing unit. We have a  multy sensory experiment to do but first,  let's watch this video.

Senses and Christmas time. The outside world shapes children's development through experiences that they have, which include exposure to the five senses senses.

And the lyrics ...

To revise the body parts we have been learning this week, here you have this video.

And the song " Head, shoulders, knees and toes" you know so well.

A computer is an electronic machine that processes data. Information given to the computer is called data. Computer works very fast.

We have started with the Traffic Safety (Educación Vial), a  four-hour curriculum covering traffic safety sessions It's really important to ensure that children have a good understanding of basic street safety when they start walking around the local and city streets without you accompanying them.

We separate our rubbish to help the environment. Some rubbish can be recycled, which means turning old materials into new materials.
We put different materials in different recycling bins.

We are learning about different types of materials. Find out how we can recycle and reuse our old things and many other curiosities.

A landscape has everything, you draw it like this...

The natural landscape in the Canary Islands is different to what we see in the Iberian Peninsula. At Tenerife stands the mighty Mount Teide, a volcano.

A landscape is the land you can see. There are many things like rivers, lakes, buildings, roads, bridges...
