When I go to school and when I stay at home I learn many different things. Sometimes our favorite subject is Maths or maybe music or perhaps English...the important thing is to try and put effort into it.

Let's see if we recognize all of them!

Sometimes, we probably underestimate young children’s ability to work for interests other than their own. Democratic participation, the way to build a better environment sharing and collaborating. If we want a better world everyone must do something, even a very little thing is important.

A different way to visit our school and a nice way to learn the different names of the rooms at school. This gives you the opportunity to review unit 1 and to enjoy the video.Who is Pozuel? It´s me !!! Different name for different things .That's cool.

A new week is about to start and new challenges are waiting for all of us in our creative classroom

How cool to have storytelling back to school in our new classroom with the teacher ! Poor little Wemberly worried about many things including "school" "teacher" "classmates" and you...

What do you worry about?

And now...

The eTwinning School Label was introduced in 2017 to recognise and reward the involvement, commitment, and dedication of not only individual eTwinning teachers, but also teams of teachers and school leaders within the same school.

We are delighted to announce that CEIP RABINDRANATH TAGORE is one of the  1,211 schools in Europe that have been awarded the eTwinning School Label after a two-part application process. These awarded schools are pioneers and are recognised as leaders in areas such as:
This is not only recognition of personal success of individual teachers but also an acknowledgment of the great achievement of the entire eTwinning team these school.

I hope that you have had a relaxing and enjoyable summer and are ready for a successful school year.I am delighted to welcome you on 8th September.

HAPPY 2017-2018
Just two days at school  and we are again with extra free time!.Today we have celebrated our first birthday, we have welcomed a new student from Syria and we have been  drawing our favourite experience in these days. Some students prefer  the playground,  others the teachers, the classroom, the fact to be one floor up in the building, in Primary!Today in the playground it has been  amazing to see how kids played together; football is very popular as well as jumping  the skipping rope.

And our "Hello" song!!!

School is already here! Best wishes for a smooth beginning of the new school year 2016 to students, parents and staff!

Back to school!!!

Hi kids! Still some posts before leaving to my "paradise". Let's see if you like this video with  some of our best moments together -:). We have done so many things that it is impossible to present all of them!

One of the topics both groups have study during the first term has been The School.Besides, and in small groups, 1st B has been talking about the topic, drawing the different scenarios they have visited. The result is this little book.

Congratulations for your nice work!!!

On Friday I attended the after-school chess class.  Our first graders are very fond of  this game and I wanted to see them on spot. The teacher introduces the different tactics with stories, playing theatre with the different pieces ( king, tower..). Whatever has been taught on a lesson is rewarded, with individual points and team points, if it is applied straightaway. Student's absolutely loved it!.
In the class there were kids of different grades. This activity helps build individual friendships and also Tagore's spirit when our students compete together.

Kids, hope you have a wonderful long weekend! My option for this three days is taking a trip to Delft ( The Netherlands). I hope to get a bike ride, if the weather allows me, go to the market to buy my favourite cheese, flowers and "dropjes" and enjoy the company of friends and family. To practise  Dutch is a must  , you are not the only one having exams!!!

On Monday you know you have English  exam, check the agenda! For most of you, it's going to be very easy. The reason of that is your daily work and attitude . For others is going to be hard because they haven't done some activities...Happyland exists!

We want to congratulate our student Irune, 1st grader, for her performance in the last tournament at  Rabindranath Tagore School. In our class is a very popular game and two tables are always ready for playing after our activities.

Kids, you must know that The World Chess Championship Match is taking place these days between World Champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway) and Challenger Vishy Anand (India).

We are about to start a week full of cultural events. To start with, we are ready to mail a Box of Spanish Culture to our friends in London who are learning Spanish! Another box from England is on the way. What an exciting time! Will we be  able to guess what is inside?

A different way to visit our school and a nice way to learn the different names of the rooms at school. This gives you the opportunity to review unit 1 and to enjoy the video.Who is Pozuel? It´s me !!! Different name for different things .That's cool.
